Peter Wallace. SF Fin FAICD AFAIM. Non-Executive Chairman

Peter joined ICON at a time of planned growth and brings with him a wealth of experience, predominantly within the finance and resources sectors. Peter has had a long and distinguished career with NAB and Challenge/Westpac Banks and during that time spent many years in financing large resource based projects as well as holding senior executive roles, including Chief Credit Officer and Chief Operating Officer positions. More recently he was Head of Corporate Advisory for Bell Potter Securities Ltd, one of the largest stock broking firms in Australia.

Garrick Aberle. CPEng FIE(Aust).Director

Garrick was a founding partner of ICON Engineering. Prior to this he was employed by Wapet (now Chevron) as Chief Engineer for offshore pipelines and subsea systems on the Gorgon project. Garrick has a strong technical background in offshore oil and gas facilities design and construction. He has also been involved in evaluating business opportunities and progressing major projects through from conceptual phases to construction, the installation of minimal facilities offshore structures and conceptual field studies.

David was a founding partner of ICON Engineering. David has a strong background in structural engineering with over 20 years experience in detailed design and installation of offshore structures, project management and development of equipment to support construction and drilling operations. Prior to founding ICON, David worked for Brown and Root Vickers in London, Saipem, Clough and WAPET. Since founding ICON David has developed a track record in successfully managing the installation of jackets and topsides utilising float-over and jack-up rig installation methods, and has personally supervised the installation of many significant offshore structures.

Russell Collins

Russell Collins joined ICON in 2011 as Business Development Manager. Russell brings more than 18 years experience in the offshore oil and gas sector coming from Neptune Marine, Kvaerner, Brown and Root and, his own business, Subsea Developments. Russell developed significant expertise in the pipelines and subsea engineering sector before co-founding his own engineering consultancy business, Subsea Developments, in 1999. Over an eight-year period the business peaked to a staff of 40 and annual turnover in excess of $10 million before being sold to Neptune Marine in 2007. Prior to joining ICON, Russell’s career at Neptune progressed to that of Group Vice President – Corporate Development; a role which included a number of corporate and strategic responsibilities including M&A Strategy, Investor Relations, Marketing and Communications. In 2009 Russell was named one of Western Australia’s young business leaders at the annual “40 under 40″ Awards which recognize achievement and potential within the business community.

Chris Harrigan

Chris Harrigan has more than 11 years’ experience in commercial accounting within the oil and gas sector. Prior to Icon Chris was Finance and Treasury Manager for ASX listed global oil and gas service provider, Neptune Marine Services Limited. At Neptune Chris was responsible for debt financing, capital management, budget and forecast modelling along with commercial and financial analysis for bid proposals. Chris also held commercial and financial roles at global well flow technology services provider Expro both in Perth and the UK corporate head office. Chris was also a commercial accountant at Woodside working on the “Oceanway” project proposal to deliver Browse LNG via offshore Receiving FLNG terminal offshore Los Angeles.

Robyn Anderson

Robyn has a solid track record of managing complex and project related HR, HSE and Organisational Development initiatives. Her last role at WorleyParsons saw her delivering major strategic HR frameworks for clients such as Chevron, BHP and Woodside. Having experience in the Oil and Gas industry as well as Mining, Construction and Engineering, Robyn brings a strong people focus whilst understanding the nature of projects and criticality of resourcing. Successes in bringing her previous employer, Georgiou Group, through the Best Employer process saw this company win the award two years running. Combining cultural initiatives in the HR, Safety and Environmental space is a key strength and alignment of vision, values and people outcomes provides a depth of expertise which will drive Icon’s vision of becoming an employer of choice.

John Rooney

John joined ICON in 2006 as a structural engineer and during his tenure with ICON his technical knowledge, project management and offshore installation experience has afforded him the opportunity to oversee the delivery of all ICON projects to industry leaders such as Chevron, Woodside and BHP Billiton. Graduating from the University of Western Australia with 1st Class Honours majoring in structural engineering John also holds a Diploma in Project Management. John’s experience and project management expertise provides ICON with a depth of knowledge and quality that ensures leading practice processes and exceptional results for our clients.
