Career Development and Learning

At ICON, you are not locked into the one type of job. You will be required to perform a wide variety of challenging tasks in your role, from working independently, working as part of a small team, forming part of a large project team or even running your own projects. You are encouraged to have a say in your career and help pick where you best fit into the company.

We believe in fully investing in our people and actively encourage further study and attendance at career and training courses. ICON provides the following:

  • Up to 3 days paid study leave per year on approved external courses
  • Company paid external courses for eligible employees
  • Paid ad hoc training courses that are relevant to your work and career
  • Financial assistance for approved courses of study for eligible employees

Team and People Environment

As project work can at times become quite intense, our people tend to form solid and close working relationships. In addition, our people also like to be able to let off a little steam, so we have a social committee that organises regular social functions and activities. ICON is also an active participant in the local lunchtime sports competitions.
