Talisman (Malaysia) Limited
BR-A Annexe
Braced Monopods ICON Engineering provided the conceptual design & installation
engineering, followed by the structural & geotechnical detailed
design for the BR-A Annexe Monopods for Talisman Malaysia. The Annexe
is braced back to the existing BR-A CPP.
By using the braced suction pile monopod concept, the design and installation
was simplified and the cost was significantly lower than installing
an adjacent stand alone structure.
Vermilion Energy
Wandoo B Wellbay Extension
Design and installation 2008 ICON Engineering reviewed the feasibility of a platform extension
with tensioned conductors to provide another three conductor slots on
the Wandoo B platform for Vermilion Energy. The module extension was
designed to be installed in pieces limited by the platform crane capacity
of approximately 8 tonnes at that radius.
Talisman Malaysia Limited
Bunga Kekwa C Annexe Platform
Conceptual Design and Installation
ICON Engineering undertook a conceptual review and recommended
an annexe monopod platform braced back to the existing BKC wellhead
platform as the most cost effective solution for Talisman to add new
wells on the BKC platform. The design concept was able to be installed
by drilling rig or derrick barge.
Santos (Sampang)
Ltd
Oyong Field Development
Tall Template Structure
ICON Engineering was contracted
by Santos to provide conceptual engineering, multi-discipline detailed
design and installation engineering for the Oyong wellhead platform
in Indonesia.
ICON developed a Tall Template Structure (TTS) and Short Template Structure
(STS) for the jacket and topsides respectively.
Santos (Madura Offshore) Pty Ltd
Maleo Field Development
Minimal Wellhead Structure ICON Engineering carried out conceptual engineering, multi-discipline
detailed design and installation engineering for the Maleo wellhead
platform for Santos in Indonesia. The platform is braced to a converted
MODU production facility. As with the previous Oyong project ICON developed
a TTS and STS for the jacket and topsides respectively.
