From 30 years in the energy industry, our team has developed deep, practical expertise across all aspects of offshore engineering and execution. We are a multi-disciplinary team of engineers with a proven track record in solving the most challenging problems; and pioneer leading solutions.
Many of our team members have worked directly on drilling rigs, offshore production facilities, subsea systems and brownfield assets. ICON engineers do not work in isolation from execution. They understand vessel constraints, live-asset risks and offshore scheduling pressures because they have operated within them.

We deliver practical, fit-for-purpose solutions across feasibility, concept, FEED and detailed design. Our engineering is aligned with installation methods, construction sequencing and offshore constraints so designs can be delivered safely and efficiently.
Our disciplines work together to deliver integrated, practical solutions aligned with offshore execution requirements. This structure helps us manage interfaces internally, reduce reliance on third parties and maintain technical continuity from early definition through to execution readiness.
We manage technical, operational and delivery interfaces. By coordinating interfaces across engineering disciplines, vendors, contractors and offshore execution teams, we help keep design intent and delivery requirements aligned.
We combine high-accuracy 3D scanning with in-house drafting, modelling and visualisation to turn site data into usable engineering input. Point cloud data supports as-built modelling, clash detection, interface verification and detailed structural, mechanical, lifting and installation design.
We manage fabrication activities, including work completed at third-party yards and within ICON’s own yard facilities. This helps ensure structures, equipment and assemblies are delivered in line with approved designs, specifications and quality requirements.
We support inspection, maintenance and repair scopes that help extend asset life, address integrity issues and maintain safe operation.
On procurement, ICON uses the IFS (Industrial and Financial Systems AB) suite to manage commercial operations and material procurement in support of project implementation.
We support operations and maintenance work with engineering input, planning support and execution coordination.
ICON provides risk studies and structured risk assessment capability to support informed decision-making and safe delivery across project lifecycles.
ICON operates in-house workshop facilities to support controlled, hands-on preparation and verification activities that benefit from a dedicated workshop environment.
