Beach Energy’s Otway Basin decommissioning campaign called for a wellhead load-relief solution with no room for redundancy. ICON Engineering designed and deployed a first-of-its-kind two-leg Gravity Base Anchor tethering system, using standard AHTS vessels instead of costly construction vessels to handle the heavy subsea structures.
