ICON Engineering’s CALM buoy removal and mooring leg replacement restored field integrity for an offshore client in Papua New Guinea after an existing buoy failed. Combining rapid mobilisation with a bespoke rigging and towage methodology, ICON managed the full campaign, from engineering and procurement through offshore execution and disposal, using a Vessel of Opportunity to minimise cost and field downtime. The project was completed with zero LTIs.
