Across two years and four consecutive well campaigns on the Transocean Endurance, ICON Engineering supplied and operated a modular Tension Lift Frame supporting subsea well completions, interventions and abandonments for Woodside Energy. Direct interfacing with rig hydraulics eliminated the need for a separate HPU, while innovations like the Riser Feeder Machine pusher cart improved offshore rig-up efficiency and safety. The partnership’s success saw ICON’s equipment contract extended to Woodside’s sister rig, the Transocean Equinox.
