    The Role

    We are seeking a motivated, confident and experienced Office Manager to support and run the Perth office in a fulltime role. This role will require an individual with strong attention to detail, who displays initiative, strong organisational skills and possesses a high level of emotional intelligence. Situated on St Georges Terrace, you will have access to free gym, pool and tennis courts.

     

    Duties include, but are not limited to;

    ·         Reporting – Time Report and assist with collating of Board meeting Report

    ·         IT Support – monitor laptops, assist with IT issues and liaise with outsourced IT company

    ·         Secondary reception and HR support 

    ·         Support Operations group 

    ·         Assist MD and Exec Team with tasks

    ·         Liaise with Building Management 

    ·         Organise Staff Meetings

    ·         Coordinating Training 

    ·         Responsible for Training Matrix and Leave Register

    ·         Oversee Reception 

    ·         Booking of Travel 

    ·         Allocate seating of new staff

    ·         Approving invoices

    ·         Admin support for all staff

    ·         Displays ICON’s core values at all times


    Your Profile           

    Essential

    The successful candidate will possess the following essential qualities:- 

    ·         3 years or more experience in a similar office manager role

    ·         People management

    ·         Advanced Microsoft Office skills

    ·         Some experience in HR

    ·         Strong communication skills

    ·         Qualification in Business/Administration/Human Resources

    Desirable

    ·         IFS or equivalent system experience

    The Role

    ICON presents an exciting opportunity to a proactive and motivated Drafting Manager who will be challenged with managing and maintaining a design team of approximately 10 personnel capable of delivering the design drawings for all our oil and gas projects.  


    Specifically, you will be involved in:

    ·         Managing and maintaining a proactive, high functioning and autonomous design department capable of meeting project requirements

    ·         Scheduling and coordinating drawing office resources, in addition to normal drafting / design activities

    ·         Software admin 

    ·         Checking drawings and mentoring team members

    ·         Managing drawing office compliance with ICON’s management systems

    ·         Monitoring and control of work schedules and man hours

    ·         Implementing process improvement initiatives

    ·         Delivery of practical and innovative design solutions

     

    Your Profile        
    The successful candidate will possess the following essential and / or desirable qualities:

    Essential

    ·         +10 years’ industry experience in Mining and/or Oil & Gas 

    ·         Proven capability in building and managing a design team, assisting with interfacing between the engineering and design departments

    ·         Extensive experience in both structural and mechanical design and design work 

    ·         Conversant with current best practise drawing techniques 

    ·         Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor 

    ·         Developing practical design solutions and producing construction / installation drawings from engineering sketches with minimal supervision

    ·         1+ years post graduate relevant structural engineering experience from conceptual design through to installation

    ·         Competent with Spacegass or equivalents

    ·         Experience in collaborating with drafting departments to produce drawing outputs

    ·         Experience working on projects related to drilling rigs, offshore vessels

    ·         Conversant with current offshore codes and specifications, including DNV, API, ISO, AISC WSD and familiar with best practice installation techniques which impact on design

    ·         Competent with SAC’s and/or Strand 7

    ·         Comprehensive understanding of design processes, manufacturing, onshore construction, offshore transportation and installation methods

    ·         Responsible for coordinating the production of deliverables including calculations, specifications, procedures and managing 3rd party submissions and inspections

    ·         Innovative approach to problem solving / concept development

    ·         Comprehensive knowledge of DNV, API and AISC Codes

    ·         Offshore site experience supervising offshore personnel in project execution

    ·         Customer Relationship Management skills
