ICON works with operators to develop annex platform solutions that expand existing assets without overreliance on legacy infrastructure.
Annex platforms provide a practical way to increase production from existing assets by adding new well slots or introducing additional facilities where space on the host platform is limited. By locating new structures adjacent to existing facilities, operators can unlock incremental value while minimising the need for complex subsea developments.
This concept is particularly well suited to ageing platforms where new wells or facilities are required but available deck space is constrained.
