In a global first for this Client, ICON has completed the transportation and installation procedures for a Rig Installed Conductor Supported Platform (CSP), Topsides and Host platform connection bridge all using a Jack-up Rig inplace of a Heavy Lift Vessel.
This approach eliminates the costs associated with mobilising a Heavy Lift Vessel to Nigeria.
As part of the project ICON also developed a new levelling system, guarantee correct orientation and elevation during piling
